Disasters like the ones experienced recently in Kentucky are horrific. But in times like these Christ’s Church has the opportunity to be His hands and feet. In the next several weeks be on the look out for service trip opportunities. In the meantime, if you would like to financially support our groups who will be partnering with IDES (International Disaster Emergency Service) and CrossRoads Missions, please go to spencerchristian.org/relief and designate the “KY Disaster Relief Fund”. Disasters on this scale will require clean-up and rebuilding efforts for years to come. We will stay in touch with IDES, CrossRoads Missions and other ministry partners who are on the field to assess how we can best assist them in their efforts and organize groups accordingly.
