Spencer Christian Church’s first value is “faith in Jesus Christ.” In everything we do, our desire is to see people come to Jesus, love Him, walk with Him, grow in Him and help others on their own Spiritual journeys with Him. The efforts of the SCC should be directed toward bringing the message of Jesus to our world.

We accomplish this by:

1. Providing a meaningful and contemporary worship service that directs people to Jesus.
2. Maintaining a focus on developing people’s relationship with Jesus.
3. Developing core beliefs that relate God’s concern for and involvement in the life of His Church as it reaches out to the community with the Gospel of Jesus.
4. Valuing Spiritual disciplines that help people in their walk with Jesus and relationship with others through Small Groups.
5. Welcoming people, equipping them for their Spiritual journey, and sending them out to fulfill Jesus’ commission to make disciples.
6. Clearly communicating the relationship of faith to “Real Life” issues and situations.

We hold to the following pillars of the Faithful Life:

1. Worship God constantly with reverence, purity, intensity and sincerity.
2. Study God’s Word tirelessly so it would saturate out hearts and thereby shape all our thoughts and behavior.
3. Share our faith in Jesus Christ joyfully with everyone who does not know him personally and intimately as Savior.
4. Utilize the resources God entrusts to us strategically as stewards investing in His kingdom.
5. Serve anyone humbly who has needs, particularly those who are emotionally, physically, intellectually, or spiritually disadvantaged.
6. Develop a loving community of believers who would encourage, exhort, and support each other as fellow members of the household of God.
