Christian Church background organizations

Lifeline Christian Mission http://www.lifeline.org/ works down there and is a good organization. They have a school and have done good work in Haiti.

IDES International Disaster Emergency Service is another great organization. http://www.ides.org/dart.php IDES is as close to a quick response unit that the Christian Church background has.  IDES send teams as well as distributes funds to other organizations from Christian church background who are working in areas of disaster response.  They are experienced in helping with disaster relief and contributed to work in New Orleans.
