Rick Starr’s dream of A Refuge has finally become a reality. For 24 years Rick has dreamed of having a home where missionaries could come and stay while home on furlough from foreign fields. This dream became a reality in November when missionaries Jimmy and Sarah Hatter came to stay at A Refuge. The Hatter’s serve with Crossroads Missions in Mexico and are here in the states for 2 months while Sarah finishes her Nurse Practitioner Degree. The Hatter’s along with 4 year old son Max will be at A Refuge until January 2010 and are enjoying the comforts of home while here. SCC has been greatly involved in helping supply what was lacking at A Refuge. Thank you to all who have helped and continue to help in this great adventure of faith…the dream of A Refuge.
